Warning: The Troy Walmart Vision center will quote you a price after checking insurance, copay is paid at time of order and then they will send you a bill for almost double quoted price. No price transparency. Recently, when ordering glasses, they provide price and copay amount, we paid copay at time of order and then they send us invoices for for double and triple the amount stating that insurance didn't pay full amount. Dr. Sandra Shona Hou’s office demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and respect for patients’ time. Arriving over an hour late to a scheduled appointment while staff repeatedly attempted to reach her reflects poor leadership and a disorganized practice. In healthcare, accountability and reliability are not optional they are expected. As a veteran, I found this experience particularly disappointing. I would strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.
I get an excellent value on frames and lenses, they take my insurance no problem, and I get excellent service and treatment from their optical staff and the optometrist.
Walmart vision in general are horrible corporate wise
Been seeing dr hou for years. She's been nothing but pleasant and professional.
