I had a terrible experience with Jen! I went in for an eye exam, and instead of offering professional advice or reassurance, she told me that my prescription was “so bad” and that I’d probably need eye surgery. Talk about an unnecessary and rude comment! No compassion, no attempt to explain things in a way that was helpful or reassuring. She completely lacked customer service skills and made me feel more anxious than when I walked in. If you want to feel like a patient, not a problem, avoid Jen at all costs!
When to go pick up some glasses today and witnessed a staff member named Jen being very rude and demeaning to a brown mother and her kids. It was busy so I had to stay for a bit and she kept treating them like they were a nuisance and that they shouldn't be there. Jen made quite a few remarks complaining to everyone in earshot about how the mother shouldn't have brought all her kids to have exams on the same day beacuse it would take a while to help them and pull up their insurance and how now her lunch was going to be late.... read more

The updated 5 star review is for Dr. Hasan and all of the staff at the vision center. I am very grateful for all of their assistance. They were very reassuring and supportive not only during the horrible experience I had with Dr.Jency Elakkatt but also every time I came in to ask questions/order glasses. Dr.Hasan was very profesional during my recent eye exam and even offered to answer any questions that I may have regarding my daughter's prescription. Dr. Jency is such a thorough and caring doctor. She took her time and explained everything so well and made several recommendations on what kind of lenses would be best for me and I LOVE my new glasses from the Addison Walmart vision center! My Dad has advanced macular degeneration and she even answered my questions about his condition and recommended a specialist for him. Thank you, Dr. Elakkatt!!
