Brought a prescription from Pearle here. The person who did the intake (sorry, didn’t get her name) was friendly and professional. Glasses were ready in 5 days, and have been working great. The person who did the final fitting when I picked them up, Jennifer, was equally nice and good at her job. Glasses are a commodity - they should not have to cost $600. Went back to this location to exchange my prescription glasses. I told her that I came here twice to get them adjusted and they still didn't work out so then she said well we can return them. Then another associate chimes in and says if you do that it could take up to 4-8 weeks for the insurance. And then the other associate mentions that if you exchange it for the same price we could do that so I wanted to do that. What a joke. I am a few days past the 60 days, and they refuse to allow the bifocal prescription the doctor already made (which I have), and they tell me I am stuck with these contacts. They want 175 dollars to update a prescription I already have or the doctor will refuse it when they verify. So greedy, definitely filing a complaint with the bbb.
I went in for an eye glasses and contact exam. Neither were done right. I’m going to have to go to lens crafters again to get it done properly. Waste of time and money. They were nice but does that really matter when they aren’t doing the service you paid them for.
We went in for an eye exam back in January, and everything seemed fine at first. When we went back to get the prescription so we could get glasses somewhere else, they gave us issues right away. I decided to go back again today, and I was told the same exact thing that the doctor who did the exam is no longer independent and is now part of Walmart Vision, and that he supposedly threw all the files away.
