Call and verified they took my mother’s Cigna vision insurance for an eye exam before making the eye exam apt. When Walmart eye place employee confirmed they accept her insurance for the eye exam I made the appointment. When we got here they said that they did not accept her Cigna vision insurance for the eye exam but they do for the glasses and that they exam would be $80.00. Make sure when you call they 100% verify that the insurance covers the eye exam and not just glasses because the eye doctors is separate from the glas... read more

I already phoned in massive kudos for Zeny, an optician here--so this is for Jessy, another rare find who's professional and personable. Not only was he proactive in (a) carrying out his "basic duties" as an optician, but he went beyond the call of duty in making sure I understood all that pertained to (b) the different types/available treatments of eyeglass lenses, but the care and cleaning of the ones I got. Both Zeny and Jessy are keepers. :-)
