I am writing to share a concerning experience I had at the Northside Lakeland Walmart Optical location recently. While attempting to purchase a new pair of eyeglasses, I felt I was given the "third degree" by a staff member because I had previously returned a pair of glasses to Sam's Club. The eyeglasses were returned because after only a couple weeks of sporadic use, one of the lenses had a scratch. The doctor rushed through my exam so his assistant could take a lunch break on time. He wrote the script for the wrong brand of contacts and I had to drive back to the location twice just to get him to correct the script ( he was not present the first time), just so I could order contacts and wait another week, since they don't stock anything stronger than -4.0.
