Came in to buy my first pair of glasses. I asked if they accepted my insurance and she said no and gave me option to go to another place. I then asked if I can just buy a pair of computer glasses, I also had a Rxscript. She said the prescription has to specifically say computer glasses for me to get computer glasses. No clue why the bad review before. Dr P was very patient and made sure i wasn’t rushed during the exam and fixed my prescription.
Don't go here!!! Optometrist in his 80's and incapable. I recently took my daughter in her 20's to the one on Madison Blvd. The Optometrist gave my daughter an eyeglass prescription that was so off that she could not see whatsoever. (I verified the prescription error with the correct prescription @ AMERICA'S BEST IN MADISON, AL.) Her glasses cost $450 @ Walmart due to her high rx. Since my $80 for his services went to him directly with his own credit card machine, I will contact Wamart home office for my refund for glasses &... read more

I've been seeing Dr. P for years. One reviewer mentioned that he was older and past his prime. False! He's as good or better now than he was when I first met him ten years ago. He sees me and my 7 yr. old son. He's fantastic, affordable, and a five-star rating sells him short.
