I had a bad experience in Wallingford’s Walmart vision center and went back to the original store I got the glasses for my son. Cheryn ( I hope I spelled the name right) was very helpful and professional. Within 10 minutes the frame was replaced! Thank you! Wallingford store gentleman: learn your job or don’t do it at all!
I was not sure how things would go after seeing some negative reviews here. I took a chance since I live nearby, and I was glad I did. Courtney is very professional and helpful and worked within my budget to get me a pair of eyeglasses that had all the features I needed. She really cares about what she does. She is an asset to the vision center, and it was great working with her.
The lady gives you an attitude for no reason.
Don't be put off by the busy and sometimes backlogged front boutique/reception, or negative reviews. Dr. Scanlon is a kind, thorough and informative doctor who is passionate about helping her patients. I have been to various optometrists, opthalmologists, and eye specialists in my life, but none have compared to her. She is the reason my family returns year after year, despite Walmart not taking our insurance. She is worth it.
DON’T GO HERE!! The Optometrist is charging a $100 Office visit even if you have insurance and eye allowance with no copay for an eye exam. (Private insurance) When I asked the receptionist why $100 she had no clue and said I just work here and the doctor charges a $100 office visit , but failed to show proof as to why the fee??? They didn’t even have a fee on paper oppose to such charge !! Reason = Optometrist is money hungry and that’s the answer..
