I'm reviewing the optical department and not the eye doctor as we've only ever ordered glasses/lens. The gentleman who assisted us was adamant that our insurance would not cover our child's prescription lenses. We went back and forth and he was so confident in his knowledge of our insurance coverage. We've had the exact same plan for 20 years and I asked him to try anyway. I had the most pleasant experience with the sales person when I purchased new glasses at the vision center at Walmart in Sherwood last Friday. I think her name is Robbie (not sure of the spelling). She went above and beyond and spent the time focused on my needs and diligently looked for frames with a proper fit for me. She also looked at several frames compatible with the prescription for the lins prescription She made my purchase a very pleasant experience. DO NOT COME TO THIS CLINIC! My 72 year old mother was given an appointment in which she was on time for, she is in a wheelchair. While the store is wheelchair accessible, the clinic is NOT. She was spoken to very rudely by a young woman named Jamie (I believe) and told that if she couldn't walk they could not see her. My mother phoned me very upset and in tears so I called and spoke with the same young woman that she had dealt with and she advised that the doctor wasn't even there and had left hours prior to my mother's ... read more

Dr Hoang gave me a bad prescription and I didn’t realize it until after I had ordered my new glasses. She also gave me the wrong contacts which I had to wear bc I threw away my existing contacts after the appointment. Big mistake on my part bc the ones she gave me, gave me a really bad headache and I ended up having to take an entire day off of work to get it all straightened out with another optometrist and Dr Hoang didn’t even try to make it right.
