I went in at 4:30pm on a Friday and they were finishing with a customer with the gate down. I asked if they were closed for the day. I was told they were closed for lunch. They're only open until 7pm. Closing for lunch at 4:30 doesn't make sense. I didn't have time to wait 30 minutes, so I left.
After a frustrating and HORRIBLE experience at the Hickory NC Vision Center, the Morganton NC center was a pleasure. I went with my 82 year old mother's glasses. She had dropped them and the lens came out. The optical technician, Bob, went above and beyond to get the glasses in good shape. The prices are fair here, But the eye doctor is never in. Everytime I call all I get is " Call next wednesday" Next Wednesday rolls around and it's "Call tomorrow'. It's like he's never in the office. This has been going on for months.
Was very very happy with the service until I went to pick up my glasses. For some reason, the prescription isn’t working on the glasses that I got they kept adjusting and readjusting and finally said they had to take them back and try to start all over again. Or perhaps I would have to get my eye exam done again. I am not getting exam again because I’ll have to pay for it and they aren’t cheap.
