I have never experienced something as ridiculous and over-the-top as what happened at Walmart today. I am 25 years old and had my VALID ID ready to go, but the cashier refused to sell me a bottle of wine because my 32 year old sister in law, who was simply standing with me, didn’t have her ID on her. She wasn’t buying anything, but apparently that didn’t matter. Love my neighborhood Walmart market .It can always find everything I need ,nice staff at checkout ,it's always easy to get in and out fast.
Called this store to check the stock on a grocery item. Millennial “manager” tells me its against store policy to tell you if they have your item in stock “over the phone”. I left my name and number for the store manager to return my call and confirm this but he didnt have the nerve to call me back. This is NOT a walmart policy, and I cant believe how ridiculous it is.
