The facility itself is clean and well maintained; however, the service is extremely slow. I visited on a Friday afternoon, and despite arriving prepared, I waited nearly 30 minutes just to pay my property tax bill due to long lines. I only went in person because the office no longer accepts ACH payments online. Unfortunately, the inefficiency was frustrating. I recommend recording your conversations, or get a lawyer when dealing with this court house for traffic violations. They will give you information over the phone that differs from what they tell you in person. They will tell you that you are pleading no contest, which is “nothing”, and then give you paperwork that says you pled guilty. When you question it they say the system says “no contest” but the paper says guilty. And now that you have given them cash they say that the ticket is closed and nothing else can be done. Enough of how the three women who work there treat people. They are rude, arrogant, and loud. Nana, can you ask why they hire bad people? Where is the person in charge of checking this?
Received a summons scheduled for 1pm along with others (about 16 people) for similar reasons. At approximately 1:20pm, someone asked the clerk why they are running late and the clerk was very rude saying to “just sit down and wait.” It seems they had forgotten that court was even scheduled because right afterward, people started to come out of the offices to finally open the court and allow people in.
