Best Pizza in AZ Ray's is the best pizza I have found in AZ. It is better than Rozatis and Grimaldis. They have thin crust and deep dish. It is the closest thing you will find to real New York pizza.
Best Pizza Ray's has the best pizza in town. I would much rather drive over and pick it up versus what gets delivered by the other guys! Other than the pizza, all of their pasta dishes are delicious!
The Best Pizza Around Coming from the NY area, I didn't know what to expect. I was blown away by the first bite. This is real pizza. Ray's can compete with any East Coast pizza place. The pizza is always fresh.
Great Pizza and Subs! My husband discovered Ray's Pizza during a lunch meeting. He is a pizza critic, because he used to be franchisee for Domino's pizza. He absolutely loves their pizza. Never being to New York, we can't really rate it compared to New York pizza, but it is very good. They also have fabulous subs. We tried their wings and they were fine, but we are addicted to Native New Yorker (see my other review on this establishment.) The prices are fine and the employees are awesome. Almost as good as New York Pizza Ray's Pizza, a small chain, almost graps the New York Pizzaria feel to it and their pizza comes pretty close too. The layout is a classic red benches. The guys working there are friendly. They serve pizza, wings and subs, soda and beer. I would rate their pizza a 7 out of 10 (no offense, I am from New York!)I would rate their sub special an 8.5 out of 10. They have lunch specials (2 slices = free soda or sandwhich = free soda). A medium plain pizza is $9.00.
