I called to talk to someone concerning my child's bus driver. I expected to have a conversation with a professional. Instead when I spoke with Dena Renfro, the transportation supervisor, it turned into a confrontation. Where I was spoke to very rudely, cut off and spoke over multiple times. Very disappointed that this is the "professional" that represents Walker County transportation. Additionally, Dena Renfro call me back 2 hours later to discuss the issue further. The Walker County school bus and transportation system is a superior program. It is extremely well organized and most importantly, both the management and the drivers are fully committed to the wellbeing and safe delivery of Walker County students. I asked the supervisor for about a side being put at the top of the hill and the bottom of the hill of a road that has two sharp curves one's up on top of the hill one is the bottom of the hill the supervisor told me he would get it done so he gets more done than I would do if I call them so today this part is not being put up on the street the road that they've had too many wrecks on and I see where my grandkids get hit by a bus and you know the other parents are feel the same way but we can't get nothing done about the str... read more

They love to say they "appreciate" you but won't give raises (bus drivers). Can't pay your bills with appreciations!
