My friend ended up losing her shoes down at the Roanoke river, so we ended up shopping here as we passed by after breakfast. John greeted us at the door and was ready for any and all questions we had. He made the whole process stress-free and easy. Truly felt like we were talking with a good friend that made the experience so worth it. 10/10 would come again if I didn't live so far away from Roanoke.
We were able to find a pair of shoes for my daughter! This is no easy task. She needs a wide toe box, but narrow heal. We've tried on every major and minor brand in all of the shoe stores in town. Lexa was so very helpful and sweet. We will be a forever customer.
The Roanoke store is the third Walkabout location my husband and I have visited. Just like our previous experiences (in Harrisonburg and Lexington), we left as happy customers with some new gear! The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming.
