I've been here for 15 years this is by far the best credit Union, better than any Bank.
As I am unable to give no stars they get their one. I have been banking with Wakota since long before they changed to their nifty new name. They WERE a nice place to do your personal banking but since Covid gave them an excuse to provide rotten service they have become incredibly proficient at it. I've been trying to contact this credit union all day today, Friday, Nov. 1, 2024. Impossible to get through. Left request for callback TWICE but no one bothered returning my call. AND, according to the voice message, I was the ONLY PERSON IN CUEUE!!!! How on earth is this place being managed? I am anew customer and because of this, probably a very temporary one.
A rep from the bank reached out to me to explain why I was having some issues with my card, due to restrictions with some states regarding fraud. I have a better understanding that it was for my protection, so I have changed my review. I can't use the debit card at Walmart to order groceries. I couldn't use the card to verify account without permission from bank, because the lender was based out of Texas. I can only spend $500 max a day with the card. It's like being a little kid.
Wakota Federal Credit Union is the best! I have had accounts here for many years without any issues.
