I've never felt the need to leave a negative review for a business before, but this experience was frustrating enough that I felt it was worth sharing. My friend and I came in to browse, and I was the only one making a purchase. When I got to the register, I was asked for both of our IDs. I had a very disappointing experience at this liquor store. I came in as a paying customer and was treated in a way that felt unnecessarily rude and embarrassing. Instead of being helped respectfully, I felt shamed by staff and was told that I could leave. Regardless of the situation, customers should be spoken to with basic courtesy and professionalism. I left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope management addresses how customers are treated so others don’t have a similar experience.
