RecommendedThey respect your time...in over 25 years I've only had to wait past my appointment time in the waiting room ONCE, and that was due to the fact that my doctor had a hospital emergency. Yet I've never felt rushed speaking to him, he always listens to my concerns and answers all my questions.

I have been a patient of Wake Internal Medicine for many years. All the physicians, and all the staff, are very professional, thorough and also very personable, I feel very comfortable there and I trust them with all my healthcare needs.
I’ve been a patient at Wake Internal Medicine for some time now. My physician always takes the time to not only address my medical concerns, but also LISTENS to me when I voice my concerns/opinions about my care. The office staff is also AWESOME. The ladies who check me in and out actually know who I am ... I’m not just a number on a medical form, they address me by name (even before they pull my chart). I’m very impressed and appreciate the excellent customer service. You definitely don’t find that everywhere these days.

I've been going there for a number of years and have never had to wait long for an appointment. As long as I remember to ask the question it is always answered. Even for a full physical where I have to see several people for various tests I am always finished before expected.

I highly recommend Wake Internal Medicine. Dr Heestand is my provider and she is excellent. I have only been a patient there for a year, but feel very confident in the care provided.
I saw Lori Bridges (and Angel!) and she took the time to really listen to my health concerns. She had some great ideas on how to treat my issues and rule out possible complications. I have never felt more heard and understood at an appointment. She is amazing!
