How many clear road 40-degree no school days can we handle! Remote learning?! There's no remote learning going on. This is absolute hogwash and I think this superintendent is a hot mess for how he's handled the past 2 weeks. Get our kids into school already.

I think it is time for the county to put up winter tires on all school busses, so that kids could go to school safely. If it is safe for public to go to work it should be safe for kids to arrive to school as well!!!

School Bus #1676 at 3:35 p.m. was driving wrecklessly today (1/15/26) on Creedmore Hwy. Traffic was fairly heavy. Bus #1676 cut sharply in front of me without signaling or warning. About 3 minutes later, the bus cut into the right lane again with signaling or warning. This person deserves a strong warning or suspension. I could not tell if children were on the bus, but I certainly hope not ! I searched for about 30 minutes trying to find a place on the Wake County School website without any luck. Call me lazy, but snow days when there is ZERO chance of snow are only fun for the staff. This sort of abdication of responsibility and disregard for parents who have jobs is a general theme, e.g. most "family activities" are mid-day and kids are told that they should expect most parents to take them home for the afternoon.
