Amazing tour! Forest was an incredibly helpful and knowledgable guide, having lived in the valley in past years. He showed us incredible sights, relayed ancient Hawaiian legends, and even picked us fresh fruit to eat right there in the valley. Highly recommend!
Excellent tour!
This is a non negotiable when visiting the Big Island. Omar was our tour guide and he was excellent! One of our favorite tours during our vacation. Going to the overlook isn’t enough- do this tour to actually see the valley!
My wife and I took multiple tours on our trip to Hawaii and this was by far the best one. We were at first disappointed to learn that we were not allowed to hike on our own into the Waipio Valley because of a rule implemented in 2022. It forced us to book this tour because it is the only way tourists are allowed to visit the valley floor. The experience was infinitely more enjoyable, educational, and rewarding than hiking on our own or visiting the scenic outlook (open to the public with free parking) would have been.
