This tour was such a meaningful way to connect with Kaua‘i’s land, history, and culture. Kelsey and Emma were amazing guides—knowledgeable, welcoming, and passionate about sharing the ahupua‘a system and sustainable farming practices. We tasted fresh fruit, saw the fishpond, and even got our hands in the soil. Chef Seneca’s farm-to-table lunch was absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to the day. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic, educational, and tasty experience!
Waipa's farm tour is not to be missed by any visitor to Kauai who wants to actually connect with the land, people and history of the island. The hands-on tours are led by the super knowledgeable staff who are themselves growing the organic crops and cooking healthy and delicious foods for the island. We were invited to pick and taste herbs and fruit, participate in planting, and visit multiple sites from the ocean, fields, and beautiful hills. We did the food and farm tour, it was so wonderful to know that our tourist dollars were going to something that protects everything we love about Kauai!
