Stopped here at the honor fridge after hiking Hanakāpī’ai Falls. My partner and I shared a carrot cake and cheesecake. Both of the cakes were to die for! I highly recommend grabbing a bite if you’re in the area!
We recently joined the Waipā Food & Farm Tour in Hanalei, and it was an absolutely transformative experience! The Waipā Foundation does incredible work stewarding the 1,600-acre Ahupuaʻa, restoring taro fields, gardens, and natural resources while sharing authentic Hawaiian culture. Our tour guide Emma and the team at the Waipa Foundation provided a fabulous experience during our Waipa Cultural Food and Farm Tour. We gained valuable insights on Hawaiian traditions, the challenges some Kauai residents face and how the Waipa Foundation is helping. We really enjoyed the farm to table food served during our tour. This experience was the highlight of our visit to Kauai. We encourage everyone to take the food and farm tour.
We took the Food and Farm Tour and learned so much! I highly recommend that anyone visiting Kaua'i take this tour on the beautiful north end of the island.
