Service was wonderful, food was terrible, food had no flavor . Won’t be going back
Is Wyoming ready for tokenized ownership and doomer optimism? This is a very unsettling place that has a significant disconnect from its stated values. Expect to be served by a drunk that is trying to get a ride to the next bar and creep women staying on the property. We want to like the place, because the natural setting is breathtaking. But, Definitely not a safe place! The rest of the story is stranger than fiction. Stay in Sheridan or Buffalo! Story is getting weird!
Absolutely amazing service and environment! The food was super good and very reasonably priced. We had an appetizer, food and drinks for 2 under $70 (not including tip). The staff was funny and so welcoming. The decor was awesome! We loved Story and the Wagon Box and will definitely be coming back.
7-2025 I'm sorry to say that this place hasn't figured anything out since last year. They are understaffed and the staff they do have seems to be grumpy about that. Our bartender was very nice to us but basically grumbled the whole time about working long shifts with not enough people. Who could blame him? They were only able to make drinks for people when we were there because they had a party in the back room and only had staff to accommodate that. So no food available.
