Absolutely amazing service and environment! The food was super good and very reasonably priced. We had an appetizer, food and drinks for 2 under $70 (not including tip). The staff was funny and so welcoming. The decor was awesome! We loved Story and the Wagon Box and will definitely be coming back.

7-2025 I'm sorry to say that this place hasn't figured anything out since last year. They are understaffed and the staff they do have seems to be grumpy about that. Our bartender was very nice to us but basically grumbled the whole time about working long shifts with not enough people. Who could blame him? They were only able to make drinks for people when we were there because they had a party in the back room and only had staff to accommodate that. So no food available. The Wagon Box has all the ingredients required; it offers a wonderful set of cabins and a delicious restaurant, but instead is being used to promote a political platform. This by nature is divisive and something that would be best kept out of the humble community of Story. Put simply — outside money and political agendas are bad for small town communities.
