The U District branch provided consistently outstanding customer service related to my house during a 12 year period, including: the initial mortgage, re-financing, HELOC and eventual sale. Sean in particular was fantastic to work with - very responsive, explained things well, and patient.
0 stars if I can So unprofessional service worst bank ever with a low-level customer-service. They don't care about clients my contact person was Jen Jay. They spend 2 months of my time going back and forth and 0 results. I got my loan from a different bank with no problems within 2 days. Don't ever even try to do business with WAFD they are not a bank they are a joke. Worst experience i ever had with the bank STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ANY COST !!!!!!!!!
I've been banking with WF since 2006 when they were First Mutual Bank. I recommend WF to my clients that I set up, review, and train one-on-one in QuickBooks and Quicken. Why? Because unlike US Bank, they allow free downloads into both of those software packages. I also get a free checking account as long as I keep $500 in the account. Parking in the lot can be tight. I wish they would make bigger spaces to park.
As a small business owner, I have come to rely on Washington Federal for operating my business as well as my own personal checking accounts. The service is excellent, I am greeted by name by the teller and the branch manager who smile and wave. After ridiculous policies found at Bank of America and Washington Mutual, I have been exceedingly happy with the emphasis placed on helping the small business owner.
