Pies luke warm at best & lady behind counter after engaging us as a customer then continues her conversation with her friend behind counter while we waited to order. Also promoted that we could buy alcohol at 9.45am aware we were driving across to coast. Will drive past next time.
What a great little gem. A general store, bottle shop, Cafe and food. There is a well equipped camp ground and caravan park with great amenities, laundry and camp kitchens. A gathering of local and distant musicians have a session most Sundays, and a handy bottle shop. Quiet, peaceful and private. But keep it a secret, we wouldn't want it to become too crowded.
Would be a nice place to stay if the owner wasn't so surly and the piles of rubbish were cleared. The vegetation also needs to be cut back as a lot of sites are difficult to get into without burying yourself in the bushes.
Absolute Gem of a place, spectacular Mountain views. Nature at its finest playing their symphonies. General store with a wonderful selection of takeout. Paul and his crew go above and beyond to insure wonderful memories are made. The shower suites are pristine. 20mins from Kyogle and surrounding suburbs makes staying here a wonderful centrepoint to see this beautiful region.
