Wabash Center’s operations are unacceptable. The organization is poorly managed, the turnover is out of control, and the training (if any) is clearly inadequate. Clients are treated like obligations, not human beings. The staff seem unsupported and unprepared, which leads to constant chaos and inconsistent care. Families who try to raise concerns are dismissed or ignored. The leadership takes no accountability, and the communication between staff and management is practically nonexistent. Please do not work here. My friend who is a single struggling mom got fired today based on a suspicion that “she smoked marijuana” This was done the day after she had put in a request for refusing to work alone with men. She openly expressed her concerns and this is how she was treat the next day on her shift. After they let her go she sat out in the car crying to recollect herself from the shock.
