last year we owe 5k to the irs (used H&R)... infact ive been using them for about 5 years. My max refund for filing join was always under 1k. That said, we will never us h&r or turbo again after my experience with w2 experts. W2 experts took a look at our 2023 tax and was able to get us a very nice tax return that cover our 2022 irs debt.
