Great store, great value Great store, great value. I have never found a store like this. From time to time, they even have some of their popular items on sale!
This hobbie shop has been a great experience for me and my sons I cant say enough about the selection and the advice their but with that being said I had spent well over a grand at the store on a rc truck and when we got home it ran for about 10 minutes and the motor quit.I went back too the store less than 30 minutes after I bought the truck and was told I would have to buy a new electric motor.I don't agree with this but that may be how all hobbie shops run. Nice Helpful Help at W Hobbies – I found the people at W Hobbies to be very helpful and very kind! VERY NICE selection of RC Gear for all of us RC enthusiast. I live only 10 minutes from an "OLDER" shop of 45 and 1960 area, but I find it well worth the extra 7 miles out of my way to be worth it. Sure, I still shop the other shops in and around Houston, 'cause I'm an avid RC-ohalic and a real RC junkie, but I love me some W! And Nuvy is sweet! Too bad she is married. lol Mark Terril
Good People to deal with. – I love this store and the people that run it. We all need a shop like this in our neighborhood. I travel 22 mile round trip and I think it is very well worth it! I like the helpful Staff, and they are pretty savvy when it comes to product knowledge. Someone there can answer your questions and help you and even make possible recommendations for you based on your need and experience level. When you stop by, say hello and check the store out. W Hobbies has Fantastic Selection...and Kind Expert Help – W Hobbies in Spring has a "Fantastic Selection" of RC Airplanes, Cars, small boats and even the small balsa airplanes we played with as kids. Most of these offerings are of the ARF, (Almost Ready to Fly) variety, and they also offer BNF (Bind and Fly), PNP Plug and Play which helps the young (and Old) hobbyist to get in the air quickly without a lot of hassel.
