Respect, accountability, and professionalism should never be optional when dealing with clients. John Dahl is a horrible person to do business with and an extremely unprofessional person. He won't start on your taxes for months and then when you finally have had enough with him not doing your taxes or returning your calls and try to get a new agent through the company he will scream and swear at you and refuse you to go to any agent within VRS and tell you to come get your stuff. VRS should be embarrassed to have him there.
Customer complaints are handled unethically within this firm. After my accountant’s refusal to communicate, literally being told not to call him, and crossing agreed upon deadline dates… I asked the company for help and was directed to the firms’ President. Apologies were made and I was told that another preparer would be reaching out to get the matter taken care of asap.
