My husband had this service when he was transferred from the Royal Victoria hospital in Barrie to SouthLake Hospital in Newmarket. Thankfully, he did not have to pay for this because apparently it is around $700?? There's apparently no cost to the patient if it is a transfer from hospital to hospital. The male and female that assisted in transferring him were absolutely amazing and extremely friendly. The inside of the vehicle was absolutely disgusting and not clean at all. Amazing crew, Great service, Very friendly and knowledgeable with all of my families questions. Great Driving and made my family member feel very comfortable during my families transfer.
I am deeply disappointed and angry about what I witnessed at Sunnybrook Hospital. Although I am not your customer, I saw how your staff treated an elderly lady, and it was appalling. The lack of respect and empathy they showed her was unforgivable. I can't get her distressed face out of my mind. Shame on your team for such disgraceful behavior.
This company will charge the full amount even if the hospital cancels the transport. This is unfair to struggling families. Be aware of their practices before you choose this company
