TL;DR Meaghean has questionable business practices. I purchased and paid in full for a styled shoot that Meaghean was planning. This was my second time doing one of her shoots. In good faith, I made all payments. Ahead of the shoot (about 3 months after the final payment and 1 month ahead of the event), Meaghean told the attendees that the venue had double booked, and the shoot would be rescheduled. We hired Meaghean Deppen (Vows & Views Photography) and paid in full to photograph my wedding in November 2023. She said we would receive our full album 8 weeks after our wedding per our contact. She unfortunately ghosted us and will not respond to any correspondence.

My cousin purchased a mini session and was told "2 week turnaround". These photos were taken in July (outside of wedding season). It's now early September and she JUST got the photos back. The photos aren't bad but for whatever reason has now blocked my cousin. Terrible business practice to block your clients. Word of mouth is the #1 referral source outside of marketing. Had this woman scam me out of a styled shoot ticket. I understand that there are policies but in place to secure a business but BLOCKING someone that is trying to communicate with you is NO way to do business. I am out of my $130 and it's not about the money it's about principle. Beware of booking with this company coming from a fellow photographer. I know her response will be something elaborate to try to cover the lack of professionalism, but if you'd like someone to block you and disappear this is the company to go with.

I have worked with Meaghean multiple times on styled shoots. I’m a professional hair and makeup artist . She communicates with itineraries for the group as well as makes me a personalized itinerary for the trips . She communicates frequently and is very professional. As well as working with her professionally she also has taken pictures of me for head shots multiple times and she always captures the best moments for the models and behind the scene shoots . I always look forward to working with her on her styled shoots.
