Vollbracht Furs is a retail fur coats shop that was established in 1912 in downtown Akron. In 1965 Vollbracht relocated to the newly built Summit Mall, where it is still found to this day. In 1982, Mark Ayzman, a sixth generation furrier, who had learned the fur trade from his father and grandfather, purchased the business. Mark was awesome and a genuine fur expert! I came in for an appraisal and he spent almost an hour with me explaining differences in furs and what to look for when purchasing a fur. From his expertise, you can tell he’s spent his life in the business. My wife decided to make a purchase that she’s very happy with. We’re fortunate to have someone with so much expertise in this field in the Cleveland area. We plan to utilize their cleaning service and their fur storage vault this summer. Great local business. Will be back soon!
