VMCH John R Hannah Aged Care Residence has been wonderful for both our mum and aunty. The staff show genuine compassion and professionalism every day, and the environment feels warm and respectful. My 91 yo Uncles care home experience started off a bit shaky, with an emergency respite stay at JRH. We had every intention of moving him closer to us, but he loved John Hannah and all the care and friendships he developed within a short time, that he wanted to stay. He has been there for 6 months now, and he loves it, all the activities, the staff are wonderful and supportive. Choosing a place for Mum wasn’t easy, but the moment I walked into VMCH John Hanna Aged Care Residence, I felt a sense of warmth and knew it was right for her. It feels more like a home than a facility. Mum has dementia, and the care she receives is incredibly kind and respectful. The staff are patient, attentive, and always keep us informed, which means so much to our family. We’re truly grateful for the care she’s receiving and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
