This store is great! I recently moved to Clarendon and was delighted to find this bike shop near the corner of Washington Blvd and Pershing Dr. I took in an old bike that had been in storage for 5 years that I was hoping to have revived. The bike was so dirty from years of being caked in grime that I was almost embarrassed to bring it in. In short, my bike needed an "extreme makeover." Love this place. Took my beloved but neglected trek fx1 in for a tune up. Two hours and $75 later my bike feels brand new. I suppose ymmv but I’m thrilled.Jim was super friendly and helpful , the prices were fair, and the turnaround was lightning fast. 5/5 will be back again.
I had a disappointing experience at this shop. The staff member I spoke with was unexpectedly curt, and I’m still not sure why. I found a bike I was ready to purchase, but was turned away because he couldn’t find the key to unlock the rack outside. It was a frustrating interaction and left me questioning how seriously they take potential customers. Good selection and location though.
Bought a bike for 300, one week later the chain breaks on my third ride. Buy from some other businesses please. 300 for this trash, it’s not guaranteed that they checked all the bikes to make sure they were up to “standard”, even my first bike I kinda felt the chain and gears not really working properly but I decided I’ll just fix it later.
