I recvd a 48x48 desk chair mat. It was absolutely beautiful, had waited a long time to order one. Plastic one I had tripped me and caused me to fall. I finally order the Vitrazza and the luminosity was gorgeous. However, hubby was concerned at my age 79, the mini beveled edge was a tripping hazard, so had to return. My large plastic chair mat was not terrible and I had it a long time. But at some point it started to crack, break into small pieces for higher traffic areas, and even form large holes. Rolling the chair on it was not great at any time. The glass mat I purchased is very nice and the casters roll on it smoothly and easily. It looks good too.
The Vitrazza mat for my desk chair is everything I hoped for. In particular, it was for my wife's workstation, and it made her happy.
STUPENDOUS! After a move destroyed my cheap plastic mat (my third) I researched the possibilities. After googling, I stopped in at a furniture store and they demonstrated the glass mat. Two to three months ago, I bought the glass mat for my home office chair. After 4 years of trying cheap cloth mats to protect the wood floor in my office (and ruining it), I decided to try this glass mat. Wow. Had I spent just a few extra dollars and bought this glass mat 4 years ago, I would have NOT ruined my wood floors and saved about $500 in floor repairs. Do you have wood floors? On the fence about getting the glass mat? Get the glass mat! I highly recommend it.
