After waiting a week, I had my order cancelled without explanation nor alternative solution. That was my Father’s Day gift. Customer service on the phone apologized for the inconvenience, said pound sand. Back to my trusted Blendtec with much better customer service.

Vitamix as a blender for smoothies is such a disappointment - the brand acts like they are the best, but the blender chokes making daily smoothies, it's LOUD, it's a bad design that can't mix itself fully even with the gigantic awful plastic black tool they provide. The blender constantly won't mix all the ingredients, cannot power itself fully in each mode, and spins the bottom ingredients while never engaging the contents higher up in the blender, so the design itself is flawed, and making daily smoothies is a hassle, nois... read more

I didn’t think I needed/wanted a Vitamix, but it’s been worth it! Customer service is always terrific as well. Those lovely people answer the phone, hear poor descriptions of parts, and diagnosis issues by listening to the machine over the phone. Sure, I was on hold for 45 minutes (I used the call back functionality so I wasn’t actually “on hold”) but I don’t mind when I get lovely, well-trained people on the phone.
