We are about to take delivery of our third pontoon/Tritoon with an Easy Cover. We have never been disappointed with the cover since 2019 on a Crest pontoon. The convenience of being on the water uncovered or covered for night in less than a minute makes boating a lot easier, we simply use the boat more often. In six seasons we haven't had a mechanical failure or reliability issue, not one issue. We currently have an Easy Cover on a tritoon with 250 HP outboard and we commonly use the front braces. Only complaint about the Easy Cover is that the boat is basically unusable on windy days. There’s no way to put the cover completely down so it acts as a sail/parachute which both limits the top speed and moves it with the wind when still or going slow. The cover also feels fairly fragile and moves around a lot when windy and squeaks when moving. All the testimonials on their site are somewhat accurate but there are no honest reviews about the product there. Not looking forward to the warranty ending on this one.
