⸻ I wanted to share the wonderful experience we had at the Vision Center in Walmart in Shelton, CT. Michael, the optician, was absolutely fantastic in helping my 88-year-old mother pick out new glasses. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind throughout the entire process. Michael took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my mother felt comfortable and confident with her choices. Came in to get a prescription filled through Husky. Diane helped me and she was so incredibly nice. I didn't catch the other employee's name who was working that day (she had long black dreadlocks, if I remember correctly), but she was also very nice, and helpful assisting Diane with the medicaid processing. Both very professional and patient. Very happy with my visit and I look forward to getting the new glasses :)
Got a pair of glasses here recently, frames fit poorly and seem to fall off all the time . Before that the people here had trouble finding the prescription in their records. I would stay away from this place.
Love everyone there. But when I have to interact with the manager, Stacy, she appears terse and seems agitated.
I came last Saturday at 2 oc and was told they were closing for lunch until 230. This Saturday I come at 2:45 and I am told again that they are closing for lunch. This is extremely inconvenient for customers. There should be set lunch hours so customers aren't turned away 2 weeks in a row.
