This is a much longer drive for me than my normal John Deere store. But they have better inventory, they are nicer, and they are as helpful as can be.
The folks at Virginia Maryland Tractor are great. Their business practice isn't. Drove my 2005 gator a big puddle and it wouldn't start. Thought it was the starter. I was given an estimate of $2,250 to fix it. $650 parts and the rest in labor. All it needed was a new battery. Be careful taking your equipment here. Typical dealership.

I wasn’t greeted/acknowledged when I walked in, I stood and waited 5 mins and still nothing. You had plenty employees available but chose to ignore me.
After sitting all winter, our John Deere lawn tractor's battery had no charge, but we were able to charge it and start the engine. We brought it to Virginia Maryland Tractor to have the battery checked and for annual service. We were told the battery had gone bad because the voltage regulator wasn’t charging, both would need to be replaced. Also, the drive belt was cracked, and both it and the idlers needed to be replaced. The total which included annual service was over $1000.
