As a micro home-based LLC selling handmade goods primarily through Etsy, I made a single off-platform sale of $881 in November 2025. I registered with Virginia Tax in good faith when I realized my obligation, and paid in full including penalty and interest for the late November filing. I just feel like they really didn’t wanna help me with filing my taxes they had a young guy. He didn’t have that much experience with filing taxes you can tell. The older lady that’s the manager. I guess she thought the IRS in the state add two different EIN numbers when companies only have one EIM number then I went back two days after that they gave me this white guy he was making up any excuse he could find not to help me with my taxes.
