This is an at-large review of Virginia Credit Union. Having been a member for over 30 years I will be in process of moving my business away from VACU. My mother and sister (both 30 year members) were subjected to the inane and archaic loan processsing to try and secure a car loan. The final straw was that they were both treated with disrepect and extreme rudeness at this location, the Brook Road location and on the phone by loan processing. This is a general review of the credit union as a whole. I financed a used car years ago with a co-signer, they messed up co-signers name and it was a whole process to get it changed, mind you the name wasn’t even close to their legal name but what was in my phone…When I refinanced into my name a bit later they gave me a pretty poor rate and I have a very good credit score.
