Absolutely the most incompetent part of Virginia Beach. Had a simple bus change due to driver sub. Spent this afternoon on hold or on the phone between transportation saying the schedule should be the same (but we dont know where he is), and the driver saying he's on the bus and they'll come by to drop him off. Only to find out he's still at school and the bus didn't pick him and 1 other kid up. Can't imagine how people with busy schedules deal with this...oh wait, we do. Terrible! They don’t even answer your call.
I have to ride an academy bus home, so I expected it to take a while, but changing my bus stop so that it’s almost a mile away from where I live?! I have to wake up at 5:30 to shower and catch the bus at about 6:00, but now that I not only have to walk much further, but cross a section of the road with the nearest crosswalk much further than my stop, I’ll have to get up much earlier. I am already on the bus for an hour, but this is insanity at this point. Do we even care about the well being of our patrons? It’s not only me ... read more
