Vinyl Solution has a great selection of music, drawn from all genres and a pleasant and comfortable environment. The people at Vinyl Solution are quite helpful and ready to help you find what you need, and have a great deal of knowledge about music. One of the only record stores left Some of us still want the feel of record shopping, since all standalone media companies appear to be being replaced by WalMart, so this is one option. Vinyl Solution has a great location on 25th Avenue off El Camino, and some great CDs and records. The staff is helpful and the items are well priced.
good local store I have shopped at this store a few times while living in San Mateo and have been happy each time. It is nice to have a local used CD store for when you need something right away and Tower is too expensive (or doesn't have it). The staff is friendly and helpful and the selection is good.
Paying over suggested list price Good store and nice people.........however they seem to routinely sell records like new ready available mo-fi's (Aimee Mann Lost In Space) for $5 dollars over list price. For exampe this record is $24.99 everywhere..they sell it for $29.98...I think they should tell you it is over list...it is not collectible and why overcharge PROS: good selection....nice people..heighborhood store CONS: charges over list price on some normal everyday stuff
