My mom was a resident in memory care both at a facility in Renton, Washington and at Vineyard Park at Lynden Manor. Our experience at Lynden Manor was far superior. One of the biggest differences was pricing. At Lynden Manor, costs were structured in clearly defined levels of care. My mom required the highest level, and even then, pricing felt transparent and predictable. Pleasant, concerned staff checking if there are questions about visitors, outings, med changes, shots or personal care offered in the facility. Good supervision when adequately staffed. Memory Care (1st floor) activities are sporadic. Residents seem to favor music, stories that go along with pictures, simple art projects and chair games. Animal visitors are a favorite!
