I moved my parents into a nice one bedroom apartment three years ago. They thrived for as long as their bodies would allow in great part due to the excellent nursing and care staff. My parents loved the staff and enjoyed their time at Vineyard Park! I feel so blessed to have had the experience I have had with the nurses and caregivers— they are truly Angels here on Earth!! My aunt was a resident at Vineyard park in Covington and the Cottages in Covington. She was given exceptional care throughout her entire transition from assisted care to memory care. Our family is so thankful to the knowledgeable nursing staff who was always available and helped guide us through the painful process of dementia. We miss Auntie but are comforted in knowing she was treated with dignity and respect her final days before moving.
I am so upset the way they treat our parents . When they need help, sometimes they came and other times they waited until the next day. If you love your loved one, find another place for them. I wouldn't give this place a one star, but you have to leave at least one. They have this nurse who thinks that she knows it all but she knows nothing.
