I always have trouble finding good gifts for my wife but decided to try a gift certificate to the Woodhouse Day Spa a few months back. She can be hard to please but was very happy with her experience there and thanked me more than for any other gift in recent memory. She has been back again and has recommended it to all her co-workers. I highly recommend Woodhouse as an ideal gift idea.
Booked a 60 min massage that due to traffic I was going to be late to. They were flexible and moved the time back 15 mins. Also, Joel was awesome, awesome, awesome! Best deep tissue massage I've had in years and he was extremely knowledgeable & explained why I was tense & had knots in certain areas. Worked out the knots gently. And because I was so tense, he extended my time with no charge (of course he didn't have an appt after me). Awesome and I'll def go bk when I visit the city again.
This is my oasis. I go to Woodhouse every 2 weeks for a massage as a way to control stress. I have had nothing but the best services from all employees from beginning to end. I don't even have a favorite massage therapist or aesthetician as all the girls are fabulous. I have never been disappointed with a service. I love the fact that this is truly a spa that promotes relaxation with a quiet atmosphere...no cell phones, pagers etc. That in itself is very calming! Such a cozy & peaceful setting that you can't help but to escape into pure relaxation! Great staff & many options to enhance your experience.
Dont bother going. I went in for a brow wax today and came out looking uneven. The lady actually told me that all brows are uneven...I have never had this problem. She obviously inverted the scissors and trimmed my brow uneven. i told her just wanted to tweeze stray hairs and I like a full brow. She cut way too high up and I look bald now. I wanted to cry. Not good at all.
Went with my mother and sister was ok. Don't think we'll be going back. Good facial and massages. Cons: lighting was sun and it was bright that day, sounds... Heard all the traffic, people talking and laughing out in the hallways, seemed like they were in a hurry. Felt like we didn't get good attention for the pricing, but didn't seem like they cared if you were there or not. Which is true most of the time but they gotta pretend with the clients right? It was ok depends how you like your places.... Not my kind.
The best spa I have experienced in forever! I got a day package gift card for my birthday and it was exactly what I needed. The facial, massage, and pedicure were all amazing! I can't wait to return, I'm already booked 2 weeks from now.
Now I know why they have received so much recognition. We really needed a great Day Spa in Central Texas. You know from the moment you walk in that all your stress will be melted away!
I recieved a deep tissue massage. It was wonderful. I could barely move my neck to the right when I went in to the spa. I felt wonderful when I left.
