I agree with the lack of communication. There is almost none, other than the obligatory phone call or email. You must constantly contact them if you want information. If something happens, they will simply make a choice, and you will find out after the fact. It will not impact Village Settlements in a negative sense; but it may very well be the wrong choice for you. For the amount of money they charge, I had expected far more professionalism.
