Very Disapoitned! Rude manager, poor produce! My wife and I decided to try Village Market Place for the first time this week. First off, I noticed that the store is extremely crowded with products cluttering the isles. It is truly single file especially if you want to push a cart. We were disappointed in the selection of produce to begin compared with our old standby Market Place on Oakton also in Skokie. Good for the basics The store has a variety of ethnic foods but all the basics. Not a lot of variety.Helpful people. Im a regular customer.
Nice grocery This location is has very fresh produce and meats. I've gotten fish and meats here, and always been pleased. Ethnic foods are their specialty, and I never tried them - I'm not that adventurous.
