Booked an appointment online to open a business account and the manager did not show up for my appointment. The lady who tried to help me said I couldn’t open the account because I didn’t have an IRS letter from 10 years ago. Weird interaction.

We have been doing business with Village Bank ever since moving to Richmond five years ago. We were thrilled with the customer service we experienced with Allen Scherer and Mark Halstead. Although they are no longer at this branch, we are equally delighted to be working with Jacqueline Anthony who has been prompt, personal, and professional in every way. WOOOOOOORST bank ever. I would give negative 5 stars if I could. Avoid avoid avoid this branch. It's the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced while at a bank. While I have been extremely happy with the service at the Forest location, where the associates are extremely professional, I did NOT have a great experience with the Scott's Addition location.
