Our parents have been at both places, Dad died at the nursing home, he was there for the last year of his life. When he was on his way and died, he was showered with such compassion, kindness and love, it was truly wonderful. He lived for a year at assisted by himself while Mom was at the nursing home. Not only was she removed from Hospice but learned to walk again and moved over with Dad. Over the past 30 years, as a clergyperson, I've visited parishioners at every facilty from Hanover to Springfield. My mother in law was in skilled nursing for years and now my husband is in memory care. In my experience, Cedar Hill is across the board the best facility: their focus is on respectful care. They are all helpful from receptionist to cleaners to caregiver staff, to supervisors...I cannot praise the place and their employees enough...
