We have a parent at this facility and it has its good and not so good. Some of the nurses are outstanding and some not so much. If you come around and visit whomever you have in here you will soon see who "truly" cares about their job and the residents and who is there for the money or whatever reason. One day we came to visit and had the pleasure of seeing a tattooed nurse or lpn -whatever she was laying on the desk-my only regret is not having my phone readily handy to get a picture of that. Poor management, lack of proper care for alzheimers patients, no interaction with family at all. Make sure you do the patients laundry or clothing will be used for others. My mothers jewelry was all gone when she passed. Really upset i put her in this place.
For the sake of the residents and staff, the facility desperately needs new management. AUPE doesn’t seem to care about their members either when it comes to specific issues involving staff.
This place desperately needs management overhaul. I pray for better conditions for the clients. Staff on ground are amazing and trying their best.
