Don't EVER put your family member in this facility! On Medicare's compare list it went from 5 stars to 1 star in the space of a year. Poor care, surly employees, resident abuse for filing a complaint, no administrator, and no director of nursing.
I filed one of the current 16 complaints which was investigated the week of March 23, 2009. It is most disturbing to me that the dr. caring for my family member said drs. can write orders but unfortunately cannot make the staff do their job! My family member came here from the hospital for rehab after surgery and is now in worse shape after being cared for in the rehab. section. I went to this hospital's emergency room and the service was awful. The doctor refused to treat me, and after waiting in the room for what seemed like hours, I was discharged with no care and just got sicker. There is currently an investigation of this hospital by the Department of Civil & Consumer Affairs.
